5 months later & my guests are still RAVING about my cocktail hour. A fan favorite was definitely the Machete Station serving the Tomahawk!
What was your favorite photo spot of the venue?
My favorite photo spot at the venue is definitely in front of the pull up entry way. Capturing all the beautiful greenery and tall trees look like a fairytale dream.
Was there a theme to your wedding? Tell us about your wedding colors and aesthetic!
Because my wedding was in August I decided to go the colorful, bright route. Though, this made me a little nervous and out of my comfort zone I couldn’t have made a better decision! The yellow bridesmaid dresses & greenery background was a perfect blend in photos. The yellow florals my very talented florist incorporated added the most beautiful pop of color. When planning a wedding, it really is hard to imagine everything but it really all pulled together and blended beautifully. It was a dream come true vision!
How did you and your partner meet? Share your love story with us!
We met at 16 years old in 2013 at a mutual friend’s sweet 16 where we were paired up to walk out together! He asked me out senior year of high school, went to prom together & then we were off to college. We went to separate colleges 8 hours away from each other but overcame the near impossible long distance college relationship! Nearly 12 years later, here we are & couldn’t be happier!
What made you select this venue?
This was the one and only venue we looked at! We started off not really wanting a NJ wedding but with one tour at the Ashford Estate we were sold! This venue has everything you could ever want when picking a venue. Starting with the drive up to the venue- the tall row of green trees is out of a dream. There’s multiple rooms for different scenery & openness with each part of your wedding day. So many different options for where you want your ceremony to take place. The 12 bedrooms for you & your family to sleep in right after the best party of your life. It was everything and more that we could’ve asked for.

1000% yes ! The staff at merri-makers truly make the process so easy and enjoyable! The food is amazing. Before my wedding, I never attended a wedding at the ashford estate but I only heard the best reviews which was a huge pro for me and my husband when booking a venue. It’s simply stunning in every way and very picturesque!
