I can’t even begin to thank everyone that was involved in making our wedding such an incredible success. The staff at Bonnet was PHENOMENAL – thank you ALL for being so accommodating. Please pass along my thanks to everyone involved – especially Ellie and the bridal attendants – everyone was incredible. The day really went so smoothly, so I cannot thank you enough for everything you did!!

wow just wow… truly amazing food

WOW! What a fabulous wedding… the joy started and concluded with you at the helm and what a delight you have been throughout the entire process. Thank you for your delightful ways – your smiles, your ability to answer our many queries with kindness and ease, your thoughtful suggestions and guidance and, your amazing calm manner. Everything about working with you was truly wonderful. We are so appreciative of your professionalism and goodness.

The Ashford Estate is a truly magical setting for a wedding… We loved the barn for our ceremony, the beautiful room for our cocktail reception and the magnificent ballroom — not to mention the amazing sleeping rooms. The food we enjoyed was delicious (although we wish we could have a rerun — as you already are well aware, hosts don’t seem to dine much at their own wedding). All of our guests say the food was terrific. Most importantly, everyone at the Ashford Estate – Kelsey, Lisa, Taylor, Kim (oh how I wish that everyones’ names stayed in my brain) was lovely, kind, attentive and in command of the needs and wants of the bride, groom, wedding party, family and all of our guests. Thank you – two small words that we hope fully detail our appreciation.

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding and weekend — we will ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND the Ashford Estate to everyone we know. Our night, our weekend was simply magical and our daughter and now new son had the best, most special evening of their lives thanks to all involved with the Ashford Estate. And, additionally, every vendor you recommended was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with as well.

Laura, thank you for making our wedding planning and wedding perfectly magical. We greatly appreciate your effort, your kindness and your talents.

Merri-Makers is the most professional and competent catering organization I have dealt with. They are very accommodating, well prepared, friendly and flexible. Even when we had to change the venue for our last event at the last minute, they were right on top of everything. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly attentive and friendly. Working with Rick and Patty is a real pleasure. They both are on top of their game. We use Merri-Makers for many of our events and we are always impressed and happy with the results. I wholeheartedly recommend Merri-Makers for your events!

I doubted the food a few times but it was outstanding and my apologies to Merri-Makers.

Bonnet Island Estate was the most amazing venue. From the way the staff help decorate to the food, it was absolutely amazing. My wedding was on a Friday, so I was lucky enough to be able to get into the Estate at 9am to get ready the whole day. Lauren, my bridal attendant was absolutely the star of the show for me. She was so attentive and so nice. Every time I turned around she was there to see if I needed anything. She also helped me with my train the whole time I was taking pictures. She really helped keep my stress level down! Everyone came up to me throughout the night telling me how amazing the food was and they weren’t wrong! The food was the best wedding food I have ever had. The next morning everything was already packed up and waiting for us by the door to easily load our cars. The service was outstanding and they made it so easy for us to have an amazing time. They really made my day a dream and I wish I could do it all over again!

Dear Bonnet Island Staff,

When people talk about our wedding years from now, we have no doubt the unmatched venue, views, service, and most importantly attention to detail will continue to be at the top of the list. For a day, we both felt like royalty- and you managed to extend that to every person that came to celebrate with us. The saying you get what you pay for is true, however, we feel we got more than we could bargain for. We had the perfect wedding, start to finish. Thank you to every member of the staff for making each of us feel like being in a real life fairytale.

We got married at the Ashford Estate & the food was INCREDIBLE! Our guest can not stop raving about the lamb chop station we had at our cocktail hour. Best they have ever had they rave! The cocktail hour food, salad, dinner, and donuts were out of this world. Because as we all know wedding food can be hit or miss. Merri Makers is a massive hit! They know what they are doing.

Also their service is outstanding! I can’t even put into words how attentive, professional, and great the staff of Merri Makers are. I could not have asked for better. Thank you so much Merri Makers for making our wedding day amazing & unforgettable
