Hi Andrea,

We had the MOST incredible wedding day. I seriously cannot thank you or the Merri Makers & Bonnet Island teams enough – you are all amazing, and anticipated everything that night. I have HIGH standards for events (comes with the job 🙂 ) and honestly – it was perfect.

That’s so awesome to hear that everyone loved the decor! I love my jewel tones 🙂

We will definitely come by & have a glass of wine with you next summer!

Thank you so so much for everything – that was the best day of my entire life. There was not a single thing I would have changed and I was just so happy and stress-free throughout every minute of it!! Hi Andrea!
Andrew and I just got back from our honeymoon. I’m pretty sure we are still in a dream. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. I truly felt everything went soo smoothly and I have the staff at the Bonnet to thank that for. I truly felt like a princess – they were soo attentive!! Everyone noticed and was amazed by the service. Our guests especially my parents just cant stop talking about how amazing everything was. Its hard to put into words how I feel but I hope I got my point across! You were so wonderful from beginning to end – Andrew and I cant thank you enough!
Also, I hope we didn’t leave anything important behind I’m sure we would hear if we did 🙂 thank You so so much again for everything!!

Dear Laura, Kelsey, Taylor, Melissa, Bonnie and everyone else who made our weekend so special,

What a weekend! Laura, from the moment we met you we knew we would be happy to spend the year and a half with you! You offered an honest opinion, an open mind and a sense of calm that is much needed during the planning. Each and every one of you made our family feel so special, especially our daughter and her husband. From the moment we arrived early Saturday morning to the moment we left after brunch on Sunday we were treated like royalty. Also, I don’t know who drove our elderly Aunt and Uncle on the golf cart but my Aunt asked me to please give a special thank you to that person as he was so attentive and kind. No matter how beautiful the venue is if the people weren’t so kind, caring and professional it wouldn’t be as pretty but in your case the people just enhanced the beauty of the Estate.

The food at our wedding was UNREAL! Merri-Makers catered our wedding at The Ashford Estate and truly the food was MOUTHWATERING. Thank you for making my wedding such a tasteful, delicious event!!! xo

WOW! What a fabulous wedding… the joy started and concluded with you at the helm and what a delight you have been throughout the entire process. Thank you for your delightful ways – your smiles, your ability to answer our many queries with kindness and ease, your thoughtful suggestions and guidance and, your amazing calm manner. Everything about working with you was truly wonderful. We are so appreciative of your professionalism and goodness.

The Ashford Estate is a truly magical setting for a wedding… We loved the barn for our ceremony, the beautiful room for our cocktail reception and the magnificent ballroom — not to mention the amazing sleeping rooms. The food we enjoyed was delicious (although we wish we could have a rerun — as you already are well aware, hosts don’t seem to dine much at their own wedding). All of our guests say the food was terrific. Most importantly, everyone at the Ashford Estate – Kelsey, Lisa, Taylor, Kim (oh how I wish that everyones’ names stayed in my brain) was lovely, kind, attentive and in command of the needs and wants of the bride, groom, wedding party, family and all of our guests. Thank you – two small words that we hope fully detail our appreciation.

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding and weekend — we will ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND the Ashford Estate to everyone we know. Our night, our weekend was simply magical and our daughter and now new son had the best, most special evening of their lives thanks to all involved with the Ashford Estate. And, additionally, every vendor you recommended was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with as well.

Merri-Makers is the most professional and competent catering organization I have dealt with. They are very accommodating, well prepared, friendly and flexible. Even when we had to change the venue for our last event at the last minute, they were right on top of everything. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly attentive and friendly. Working with Rick and Patty is a real pleasure. They both are on top of their game. We use Merri-Makers for many of our events and we are always impressed and happy with the results.
