Our guests were absolutely blown away with everything about this venue. The staff and assistants were so kind and attentive, they thought of every single detail.

We wouldn’t change a thing about our day!

We had the most amazing and wonderful wedding with Merri-Makers @ The Taylor Pavilion in Belmar, NJ. They were wonderful. Working with us thru the pandemic with changing dates. Patty our Event Planner couldn’t have been more helpful thru this all. She was patient as we changed menus and then accommodated all our requests with ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner.

As for the food and service it was beyond our expectations. Our guests are still raving about the food. It was amazing. From the passed hors d’oeuvres to the food stations. They were perfection. We did a split cocktail hour reception. Would definitely recommend it for a fun and enjoyable reception. Guests had so much fun and enjoyed all different foods from Crab Cake sliders to Lamb Chop Lollipops.

Thank you SO MUCH to you, the entire Mallard staff, the entire Merri Makers staff, Bakeworks, and Neptune for truly making our dreams come true and putting together the best day of our lives! I cannot even begin to articulate how much we appreciate all of the effort and work that went into such an amazing event.

We received countless compliments about the venue, food, service, and staffing. It was truly incredible. Please give our best to the Chef.  The food was absolutely delicious and we could really taste the effort that went into everything, especially the heritage stations. It really means a lot that the zilzil and chicken paprikash came out so well – our guests noticed and were so happy.

We will remember this day for the rest of our lives and will never forget everything you did for us. Best wishes to you all!!!

Our daughter had her vow renewal in August this year after it was postponed due to Covid. We absolutely loved Bonnet Island Estate.! This was her dream reception. The venue is gorgeous. Very bright and airy inside due to all the large windows throughout. The detached chapel is beautiful in it’s simplicity. All the summer flowers were in bloom which we wanted!

Our wedding planner, Gianna, made us feel very much at ease during the planning process most especially during Covid. Our Maitre D’ , Joanne was at our beckoning call for anything during the cocktail hour and reception. The food was excellent! Best wedding reception food I’ve ever eaten.

Thank you Bonnet Island and staff for making our daughters reception exceptional. Oh and all our guests were very complimentary of this venue

I just wanted to pass along a compliment to your staff. I attended a wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club this past Sunday and everything about the day was wonderful. Even with some quick changes and last minute set up, due to rain, all staff worked so efficiently and seamlessly.

During the reception, we were blessed to have Miles as our waiter. He was as kind and professional as they come! He worked hard and really contributed to a fun evening!

The venue itself was gorgeous-just spotless clean too! And I loved the small touch of the extra toiletries in the women’s restroom.

I help to manage The Maryland Theatre which is a historic auditorium and 5 level Performing Arts Center in Hagerstown. We host everything from performances, touring artist, weddings, receptions, etc. so I understand what it takes to plan an event. While our venues are quite different, I can truly appreciate your attention to detail. Well done & thank you! -Anne H

We just wanted to thank you for all the hard work and attention to detail for our daughter’s wedding last evening.

The venue is of course spectacular and any family who is looking for this type of atmosphere would be hard pressed to find a location and facility that is equal to Bonnet Island Estate.

As you know we looked at numerous facilities and what made us choose your site was the people.  You and your staff are efficient, professional and knowledgeable.  What makes your team stand out however is your attitude and your genuine interest in making sure this event would be a day to remember.

We trusted you and your staff’s recommendations on everything from Menu, entertainment, photographers and bartenders etc.  To say your partners and vendors exceeded expectations would be an understatement.  They were amazing.  The floral arrangements were breathtaking, the food was incredible, the entertainment was extremely well done, as he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening.

Also what more can be said about Meredith and the Bartending staff.  The signature drinks looked spectacular, were perfectly done and her crew not only served the guests as expected and they were interacting with all the guests and making sure everyone felt at home.  Her team expressed their appreciation towards US, how much fun THEY had at the event and constantly wished the Bride and Groom the best of luck.

The attendants were out of this world.  Joanne was constantly in the background making sure everything was running smoothly and ensured the bridal party had everything they needed.  Again not just doing her job but making sure everyone, took time out and enjoyed the day.  The young lady who stayed with us the rest of the evening and attended to my daughter (Sam) was exceptional.  Kind, friendly, considerate and professional.  Guests were constantly commenting on how wonderful she was.  On several occasions guests walked up to me and said ‘I don’t know who that young woman is helping your daughter but she is amazing, wow”.  Just another example of going above and beyond what was expected.  Sam made my daughter feel like she was the most important person in the world last night.  You can train staff but you can’t coach how Sam made my daughter feel.  Sam is amazing!

Finally, I wanted to personally thank you.  With COVID delaying the event and all the challenges that popped over the past few years you never waivered and reassured us that the day would be wonderful and everything would be perfect.  Mary you made our daughter’s wedding an occasion that we will never forget.  The one word we heard time and again from our guests was “Perfect”.  I could not agree more.  We had one of the best day’s of our life and you made it all possible.  I understand that this is a business, however we never felt like this was just a transaction to you and your team.  You and your crew treated this day like it was your daughter getting married and that made all the difference in the world to us.

I cannot thank you and your entire team enough for how you made our family and guests feel.  We will never forget you and our daughter’s special day at Bonnet Island Estate.

Wow what can I even say but WOW!

Unimaginable service it was beyond outstanding. Truly made my day what it was. Made it go seamlessly and with ease.

My guests are STILL talking about the food 2 months later. It was the best food I’ve ever had-dessert included. I honestly cannot recommend them enough
