Thank you so much! And OMG we had the most perfect night. Everyone went above and beyond our expectations!!!

Gianna was absolutely amazing from the beginning. We truly couldn’t thank her enough. The staff and everyone throughout the night were so attentive and thoughtful. I always had a drink in my hand and everyone made sure we ate and enjoyed ourselves!

I think our favorite part was in between the ceremony and reception when the staff set up a full table of the cocktail hour food for us!!! I could go on and on.

That was the most memorable night for us. We are SO happy we chose Merri-Makers!!!

The food was beyond and all of our guests commented how amazing the food and service was. Thank you!!!!

We were so thrilled with EVERYTHING at our daughter’s wedding!! Our guests were saying and are still saying that it was THE BEST WEDDING and THE BEST FOOD they have ever had at a wedding!! The service was IMPECCABLE! The Maitre ‘Ds were AWESOME! ALL the food was EXCEPTIONALLY DELICIOUS!!!

Laura was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL throughout the entire process of planning and implementing all the wedding details! The rooms were more than luxurious and comfortable!!! WE ARE TRULY VERY HAPPY HAVING HAD OUR DAUGHTER’S WEDDING AT THE ASHFORD ESTATE AND MERRI-MAKERS!!

Our only tiny blip which was not noticeable to anyone except us, was that we thought there was going to be a separate Martini bar aside from the regular bar. We asked the Maitre’D during the last half hour of the reception and he said it was incorporated in the regular bar. It would have been great to have signage saying that when the reception started so our guests and us knew where to get the Martinis we paid extra to have. Otherwise, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!

Thank you ALL again, We have such wonderful memories of a wonderful wedding weekend!

Laura was amazing, she answered the brides constant calls and texts day and night, especially as the wedding day approached when they were very frequent.  She had no idea when booking the Ashford Estate she was going to get that kind of help in all areas from venue to food to all the vendors.

The vendors were from the preferred vendors list and we were so happy with them as well.  The bride was told not to use the vendors from the venue but she went with them anyway and was so happy because everyone worked so well together to make the day go perfectly.

The food was amazing we got so many calls from friends and family how delicious everything was.  Even those we expected to comment, raved about how good everything was.

Lorraine was wonderful during the reception part of the day.  Very attentive and helpful.

Megan got the biggest shout out.  We absolutely loved Megan and cried when we hugged her goodbye the next day.

Everyone went above and beyond which made us so comfortable and we were was able to relax and enjoy the day.

By far the best vendor decision we made!!

The staff at Mallard Island Yacht Club went above and beyond for our big day. I was never once worried about how the day would go because someone was with me every step of the way.

Gianna was also a pleasure to work with. She communicated everything we needed to know (and more) and was extremely helpful throughout the planning process.

I have worked in this industry before so I know how much time and effort and attention to detail it takes to make an experience spectacular and they completely knocked it out of the park!

Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the day we booked at Bonnet, Mary took such good care of us. If it wasn’t for her, we would not have had the smooth day we had.

The day before drop off/ review was so great. Ellie & Mary knew everything and explained everything so well. I appreciated the schedule & notes they took.

Day of, every single staff member was kind and attentive. The bridal attendants were so thoughtful and attentive as well. There was a moment during our photography session that I started to feel tired for the first time that day. The bridal attendant came over and offered water & champagne immediately without me having to say a thing.

The private cocktail hour was such a nice touch.

Also, the night manager was amazing! It felt great to know everything was going to be taken care of and the next morning we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

I would 10/10 recommend Bonnet (in fact, I want my sister to get married at Mallard or Bonnet too!!).

Mallard Island and Merri-Makers were AMAZING!!!

I first met Gianna at a tour for Mallard in January 2021 and she has been amazing since the fist day I met her. She was so organized and helped me through the entire planning process. We met multiple times throughout the year leading up to the wedding and she made the entire wedding planning process easy and stress free. The day of the wedding- I couldn’t ask for anything better.

The staff at Mallard and Merri-Makers were INCREDIBLE. We had bridal assistants that helped with EVERYTHING. They helped me stay organized with vendor tips, helped my husband sew his button back on his jacket after it popped off, brought me a drink whenever I had an empty hand!!! If there was a problem- I did not know about it and it was handled.

The place itself is beautiful. My cocktail hour was outdoor and the views are gorgeous. It was a windy day but the building blocked the wind so no ones hair got ruined! :D. The food was incredible. My guests were raving about how much food was at cocktail hour and how good it was!! When it was time for dinner, the service was unmatched. White glove service, the staff was so kind and friendly, the food was so delicious. We had chicken, steak, salmon offered and everyone said the food was so the best wedding food they ever had. Not one complaint.

After dinner we opened up the doors on the dance floor and my guests LOVED it. It was a perfect night and we had the summer breeze while dancing all night. I also rented the Mallard with the overnight rooms so we had our bridal party stay over. All of my guests had an amazing time and said it was the best wedding ever!! I could go on and on about Mallard, Gianna, Nancy, Lauren, Merri-Makers…everyone was amazing. I had the best wedding day ever!!

THE BEST DAY EVER. The entire Bonnet Island Estate property, the staff, the food and ambiance exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall.

The entire day was catered to us, what we wanted and loved and it just came out so perfectly. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable, they were kind and accommodating and helped us through planning and the actual day seamlessly and with great attention to detail. The food was delicious and they catered to my celiac (gluten free) needs without hesitation.

Our guests continue to reach out to us about how much they enjoyed themselves and how impressed they were…that is so meaningful to us. We have people coming to celebrate our love and we want them to be happy too. I could sit here and write for hours but all I can say is, if you’re trying to make a decision and want to have the most beautiful, glowing, happy memories, choose Bonnet. Get the rooms, stay overnight, make the most of it. Life is short and we wouldn’t have done anything differently. Cheers

Our wedding with Merri-Maker’s at Mallard Island Yacht Club this past October was seriously a dream. Gianna, our event coordinator, made the entire process leading up to to the wedding extremely easy, straightforward, and fun! We are very sad we do not have the pleasure to continue planning with her!

The day & night of our wedding exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We knew the service, food, and overall experience was going to be amazing but it was far better than we ever imagined it would be. The venue is obviously beautiful but Merri-Makers really takes it to the next level and we genuinely felt like everyone involved was just as excited to be a part of our day as we were. So many people told us it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to, and while we may be biased, we would have to agree with this!

We HIGHLY recommend Merri-Makers/Mallard Island Yacht Club to prospective couples.
Only downside to the entire experience is that it had to end!
