Love Letters

Finally coming up for air and I wanted to drop you a note to thank you and the entire Bonnet Island and Merri-Makers team for an absolutely magnificent wedding!

This wedding was 21 months in the making with so many details and we were blown away at how you and the team delivered on all of the details.

The food was amazing and the wait staff were professional and efficient and so attentive to details.

Where do I even start to thank Nancy and Lauren?! These ladies were incredible and ensured that everything ran smoothly and with the utmost attention.

Our bridal attendants kept us moving along -I’m sure it’s like herding cats!

The planning was smooth and the final event was outstanding.  Clearly, picture perfect weather added to the entire experience!

My only regret is not trying all of the hors d’oeuvres, so I do hope I am invited back some day to Bonnet Island so I can experience the venue and event through a guest’s eyes!

With much appreciation for all of the attention to detail and ensuring Erin and Chris had a spectacular day!

It’s been a couple of weeks for us to decompress from the most amazing night of our lives.  With your help and your incredible staff it was a memory that will live a lifetime.  I can’t speak enough of Megan and the girls that were Baileys assistants.  Megan was so incredible, she was on for every point.

Okay now the food!  I actually got to eat some of it, but what I did was incredible.  I would really recommend to everyone to make sure they add the Machete station.  The cocktail hour was just beyond our wildest expectations.  Than the dinner was spectacular.

I can go on and on forever.  The estate is just beyond a fairytale and that is truly what the wedding was.  Again from my heart I can’t thank you and the staff of Merri-Makers and The Ashford Estate my deepest thanks for making all of Bailey and Alex’s dreams come true.

We are still wrapping our heads around the best day of our lives! It truly was everything we dreamed of and more and we owe a significant part of that to Merri-Makers.

From the planning period up until wedding day, Merri-Makers provided us with exceptional service. Special thanks to Andrea! Your staff went above and beyond our expectations. My family and I are still talking about how attentive, kind, and helpful every single person was.

Hats off to the chef and his team in the kitchen! So much respect for them.

Andrea and Nancy did everything they could to make our day special. We are SO happy we got to work with them. So sweet and incredibly accommodating. Brooke and Lauren absolutely crushed it. Kudos to my girls for being there to hold my water and to even help me change into my second dress. Lauren raced upstairs after seeing me head up there solo (I wanted to change into my afterparty dress!). She was there when I needed someone and I will forever be grateful for that! The best team!

I consider my family and I “foodies” and can say with confidence that Merri-Makers provided us with the most delicious and beautifully displayed food we have had and probably will ever have at a wedding. The only regret we have is not eating more!!

From the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU! We will always have be grateful for everything you and your company did to make our wedding day perfect.

Thank you so much for your well wishes! We had an absolutely incredible wedding day, the last two months of our lives feel like a dream!

I’m so sorry for the delayed response, we had a lot to catch up on when we got back to reality lol

Merri-Makers exceeded our expectations in every way from start to finish.  The professionalism we received from the entire staff was world class.  The food tasting blew us away with how much we were offered, how incredible everything tasted, the presentation & the individual attention we received.  We also loved that we got our own table as it made us more comfortable sharing our opinions with one another.

The flexibility of the menu prior to the wedding really allowed us to make the menu the absolute best we could for our budget by allowing changes to both our guest count and the menu up until two weeks before.  The attention to detail by Merri-Makers staff the night of the wedding was noticed by every single guest.  The way the food was presented and served was so formal and professional it took the wedding to the next level.  From cocktail hour through the after party we received compliments on the food from almost everyone.  We enjoyed every bite of our meals and so did our families.  Both of our parents had people at their tables drop their silverware after their first bite in awe of how good it tasted! We also had one guest with strict allergy and religious dietary requirements who was blown away by the special meal made for him.

We truly are so happy we chose Merri-Makers and there is not one thing we could think of to complain about.

The food, staff and venue were spectacular.  Merri-Makers/Bonnet Island really knows how to host an event.  We received many compliments from our guests.

The Ashford Estate is the most breathtaking wedding venue! Not only is it the most gorgeous property, it provides everything you need for the most special day.

The service was outstanding from Laura and the rest of the staff throughout the whole process. Not to mention, the food provided by the catering company, Merri-Makers, is incredible!

Multiple of our guests commented it was the best wedding venue they have ever been to. I couldn’t recommend the Ashford Estate and Merri-Makers Catering enough

The wedding venue Ashford Estate I had the pleasure of visiting was truly exceptional.  From the stunning view, the beautifully landscaped gardens, it was the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding.  The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Bob, he is a very nice person.

The workers at the wedding venue were simply amazing.  They were attentive to every detail, making sure that every aspect of the wedding was beyond to make sure the bride and groom were happy and satisfied with every aspect of their special day.

The venue itself was breathtaking, with beautiful architecture and elegant décor.  The wedding space was spacious, comfortable, ad well-lit, making it the perfect place for a wedding reception.  The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.

Overall, I would highly recommend this wedding venue and its workers to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding experience.  The venue and staff exceeded all expectations, and I would not hesitate to give them a 5-star rating.  They truly made the wedding day unforgettable, and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication.

The whole wedding experience was fantastic.  Everything from the venue to the food, staff, and rooms were beyond reproach.

Everyone raved about the cocktail snacks!

Hi Andrea!

Thank you so much for making yesterday the best day of our lives! It was everything we ever hoped for and more. First, I want to thank you specifically for all your support and help leading up to the wedding day. I didn’t have a wedding planning so having your support throughout was SO appreciated.

Secondly, I want to thank the day of staff who were so amazing!!! Nancy, Jordan, and Haley were by my side all day, I didn’t even have to think! Everyone has been raving about them and how amazing they truly are.

Again, we appreciate you and will forever be complimenting Bonnet Island to everyone we know.
