We wanted to thank you and your team for helping make our wedding day the best day ever!!!!  We really enjoyed working with you through the planning process & the whole team was outstanding and went above and beyond to help make our day so special!

Words cannot express how thankful we are for you!!!  We hope you have many more successful wedding through the end of the season!!

Now that we’re (sadly) back from our honeymoon, we just wanted to send a quick thank you to you and the whole team for your help on our wedding day.

The venue was obviously stunning, like we knew it would be, and our guests were really blown away.  Your team was also incredible and really went above and beyond in making sure we had everything that we needed and that it all went smoothly.  I don’t think either of us expected to have so much support and we really appreciated it.

In short, everything was perfect and we’re so glad that we got to celebrate at Mallard!

We were beyond thrilled with the way the event was managed. Feedback from our guests has been filled with superlatives as well. High on the list are both the facility’s setting and the quality of the food. For the wedding party, the overnight accommodations were spectacular.

As hosts, my family and I were so very appreciative of the attention provided to us by your staff, allowing us to fully participate in the event without concern over administrative details.

You can be assured, we are “spreading the word” about our satisfaction and gratitude to all of you. There is a selfish motive behind that: we hope people we know will engage your services so that we may have the chance to return as someone else’s guests!

Word of mouth, as you know, is so important in promoting a venue. The Ashford Estate is a gem, one we were not previously familiar with, living in Pennsylvania. A relative from north New Jersey attended a function there in the past, and old us about it. From the very first moment we drove up the drive, we had no question that your site would be our choice.

First, I don’t think Blake and I can confidently put into words how blown away we were with The Ashford Estate and the staff members.  The grounds, interior and guest suites were immaculate and truly offered us a fairytale experience.  Our guests are still complimenting the beautiful venue as well as the meals.

Taylor, Jess and Julia – and all others involved in assisting Blake, I, our bridal party and families – were so helpful and sweet; staying by my side all day and night, calming my nerves, making me laugh and assuring we ate! These professional attendees truly became my friends that day.

I also want to thank you for offering us the option of hiring your housemen to repurpose décor during cocktail hour as well as the breakdown of the ballroom at the conclusion of our reception. Thank you for understanding I was the floral vendor and allowing me to fully enjoy our wedding from start to finish. I hope you loved our vision and appreciated the way our not-so-traditional designs decorated the venue.

Thank you again for your dedication and expertise throughout our entire engagement and planning process. Our wedding day was absolutely magical.

Outstanding is how I would describe our day!

Bonnet Island is such a wonderful venue and Merri-Makers delivered on our dream.

The planning, tasting process and review of the event were flawless.

The attention to detail, professionalism of staff and genuinely nice smiling team made the day special.

We had so many guests comment on the outstanding food options and quality.

I wish I got to spend more time making my rounds during the cocktail hour because I heard the scallop station and Asian station were fabulous!

We were so pleased with the day, the commitment Merri-Makers made to ensure we had a spectacular day, ensuring our guests felt the attention to detail and your staff  showing genuine excitement during our event was truly spectacular.

I hope I get invited to another wedding someday at Bonnet (as long as I’m not paying!!).

We honestly had the best day ever. The staff, food, venue, everything was amazing.

I wasn’t expecting all the hands on attention as to the level it was but all the coordinators and attendants calmed me and made our day so great. They also literally followed me around and made sure my dress was held correctly and bustled correctly etc. an and that I had lipstick! They also allowed me to make decisions about what I wanted to do which was great. Everything was also timed out so well and the flow of the event was amazing.

I know for a fact that Mallard knows how to throw a not only a great wedding but the best wedding! We really felt special and like we had the best day we could have.

I personally did not eat a lot of the food because of nerves but everything I tasted was amazing. I had the sushi the caccio e peppe and the lobster roll and they were so good. Michael said the steak and halibut were excellent. Also guests said it was the best food at a wedding they have ever had. I liked the private cocktail hour it was the only time we really got to eat and also soak up the day.

I also really liked working with Bakeworks.

It was literally the best day and so many people came up to us to say it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!

We also loved the touch of the champagne in the bridal suite.
