We truly had the best night! We will never forget it. The staff was great, and from what we’ve heard the food was excellent as well!

Everything was perfect. All the staff went over the top for myself, Marcus and our families.

All of our guests were extremely impressed with everything. I hope some day we are invited to another wedding at the Ashford Estate so we can get the full guest experience too!

The wedding was spectacular.  The staff was phenomenal, there for us whenever we needed anything and making sure everything went according to plan.

The cocktail hour had the best food we had at any of the weddings we have attended.  And the dinner tasted so delicious and was cooked perfectly, which is a hard thing when serving that big a group.  Many of our guests told us this was the most fun and the best venue/food they have had at a wedding.

Happy Sunday G!

It has been two weeks since we had such a great experience at Mallard. You and the staff made the wedding so wonderful . The amazing staff went above and beyond any expectation that we had.

I wish I could remember each persons name…but I cannot. From many trips on the elevator talking about their backgrounds and life experience , reminding us to eat and stay hydrated, joking, the magical black bags that held all of the essentials when a bridesmaid got crazy dropping it low while we were getting ready…. So many wonderful interactions with all of the staff that was “ assigned” to help us make this day magical.

Your night chaperones, Lou Ann, dried off all of the chairs in the fire pit, turned on the outside lights and encouraged us to spend some time outside after the guest left and relax ! Wish we could all get together again! It was a blast!!

I am enclosing a few pictures snapped of the day to let you know that you , personally, made such an impression on me and anyone that had some time to spend with you on that day. I saw how hard you work and how much pride that you take in your job. You are a rockstar ! You manage to make everything come together even when some of the circumstances are not perfect! I hope to cross paths again with you and give you another big hug! 😊

Hi Rick and Haley,

Just sending a huge thank you to you both for all that you did to make last night’s event a spectacular success. The feedback has been wonderful – and as I expected, everyone has told us how amazing the food was!   Apparently, the shrimp and grits and the lobster rolls were fan favorites!!   And, your serving staff were absolutely perfect in every way!   Helpful, courteous, friendly with our guests, attentive – I could go on. Haley, your calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness are a gift – Rick – you’ve got a great one here! Thank you for leaving the building even better than you found it! We appreciate that more than you know!

Jaclyn and I could not have asked for a better partner in creating this new event for the University.   Seeing Jack and working with the whole Merri-Makers team was truly the best part for us!

Hope all went well with Ocean County this morning – and Rick, our best to you and your family.

Overall, the team was GREAT!  Really first-class!!  Gianna did a super job and really runs a tight ship!

I do want to call your attention to one individual that was stellar.  I don’t have her last name, but LAURA was wonderful.  (Salt and pepper ponytail.)  She was the right hand person for Stephanie and Jeff, and even me!!!  Her eyes were everywhere!  Keeping guests from monopolizing our time too much and really kept things moving.  Little plates of food on standby to assure we did eat.  Drinks on hand, even if it was just a sip.

Mother of the Bride

Thank you so much. We can’t believe it’s already been over a month! Time is flying and we just want to re-live August 25th all over again.

We truly have nothing but glowing things to say about the entire experience.  Every bridal attendant was so attentive all day.  We loved spending the day in the bridal suite getting ready.

While we decided to not do a first look, we didn’t have too much time to explore cocktail hour but I loved having a selection of the food inside the bridal suite to try before the reception.

Every guest raved about the food! The staff was amazing, as I said. They helped me and Jay so much, as well as our families.

Our guests couldn’t get over how amazing the venue was and we have to agree!   I’ve been dreaming of getting married at Bonnet Island since I was ten and it certainly surpassed any expectation. It was exactly how I envisioned my wedding being and I can’t thank you all enough!

We truly can’t express how grateful we are to all of you for making our day perfect (despite the hurricane!)

Haley was absolutely amazing and answered every call with a welcoming voice.  Olivia, Joe and the entire waitstaff were so attentive.

The wagon presentation blew us away, it was gorgeous.  Dinner was delicious, the short rib was out of this world!  Thanks Jack!!  The kitchen staff both on and off site were amazing.  Thank you all!
