Merri-Makers: Admittedly, I was nervous at first signing a contract with a caterer whose food I had never gotten to try. But, after the Chef’s Table two months from the wedding, I was reassured. I loved how customizable the menu was from cocktail hour to desserts. We were able to add a heritage station, which was made based on the recipe we had submitted. The tomahawk and scallop stations are a must. I absolutely loved the summer salad and halibut. My only regret was not eating more! We continue to get rave reviews about the food.

Mallard Island Yacht Club: It is a stunning venue, with a garden, dock, mansion, bridal suite. The boathouse chapel is surrounded by water, with panels that can be opened or closed depending on the weather. I did not feel compelled to get a photo booth because every corner of the property is a photo op. The guest suites are also gorgeous.

Wedding Day: As the bride, I felt like royalty. I am deeply appreciative of my bridal attendants Jillian and Emily who made sure I was hydrated, did not have to carry my bouquet all day, made sure my veil and my dress always looked fluffed and picture-perfect. Kristi arranged all the decor as my mother had detailed in her instructive photos. After the ceremony, there were personalized platters of cocktail hour food and our signature drinks awaiting, and this continued with dinner and dessert.

Day after: We were able to pick up our drop-off items without issue, along with a bottle of champagne and the top tier of our cake wrapped for freezing!

Cannot recommend this team enough, and I would absolutely get married again at Mallard with Merri-Makers!
