I was THRILLED with everything the Water’s Edge did for our wedding. From planning before, to the rehearsal, to the reception, everything was well managed and we felt taken care of from start to finish. Sally (our sales rep) was very helpful in making sure all the details were set for our big day. Jason (the maitre d’) and his staff took such great care of us, the bridal party, and all of our guests. The food at cocktail hour and dinner was delicious and the guests are still talking about it. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married in the future.
They did a wonderful job, and they took care of EVERYTHING for us so that we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day. They had a back up plan in case it rained and just ensured that everything flowed the way that it is supposed to. Also, they worked with us to create a wonderful and unique vegetarian menu that everyone loves – even meat eaters. This chef is wonderful!! I recommend this venue 100%!

If you want a wedding at the beach in NJ- this is the place to go! The venue is beautiful- I had my ceremony on the beach, then cocktail hour and reception inside immediately after.
It’s nice that the cocktail hour is in a separate room from the reception. I had a steel drum player for the ceremony (power is outside) and then for the cocktail hour as well. My guests kept raving about the food (especially the shrimp and the French toast at cocktail hour) and the service! My day was perfect and the entire staff made the entire event run seamlessly. They even made sure my elderly grandmother got a ride on the “alligator” dune buggy directly to her seat on the sand!
My guests keep telling me it was like being on an island somewhere far from NJ. Thanks Merri-Makers!
We had the most incredible wedding at The Water’s Edge. It was truly more than we could have hoped for. Every detail was attended to with such happiness, and the staff was incredible. Sal and Tara took incredible care of us, and we absolutely love them. The entire process from booking to the tasting, the the weeks leading up to the wedding were truly a pleasure, and the wedding was just amazing. Everyone loved the look and feel of the place, the service, the food was delicious (one of the reasons we picked the place, besides the nice ambiance).
We had the ceremony upstairs, to which our guests were greeted with champagne and strawberries. It was right in front of the big beautiful window with the ocean as the backdrop. The cocktail hour was fantastic. We had originally just booked the smaller package, but upgraded to the better package for more food and stations. We had about 75-80 guests, and it was perfect. Truly everyone had nothing but the most amazing things to say, and we felt truly blessed.
I 1000% recommend these guys. They went above and beyond for us. They even offered us a free candy bar at the end, which everyone loved, and only did this (although completely unnecessary and unexpected) because they wrong chocolate for the chocolate fountain was delivered (white instead of traditional). Nobody noticed, but we truly appreciated that extra detail. The staff actually seemed very happy for us, and definitely Sal and Tara, again did such an amazing job. My glass was never empty, and the food was never cold. FANTASTIC!! Thanks again guys for a truly memorable evening. A thousand times thanks!!!

Well it’s been almost 2 weeks since the wedding and our family and friends are still talking about what an amazing night it was. Greg and I want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you and your talented staff did to make our wedding so unforgettable. And as for that superwoman on your staff known as Tara…well, let’s just say that you are lucky to have her. It is refreshing to see someone who truly takes pride in what they do. I have to say that she (along with you) “made” the night…she made us (as well as my mother-in-law) feels so special with her kindness and attention. Of course those Cosmos she kept bringing didn’t hurt either! We even noticed more so your attention to detail when we were going through our wedding pictures and saw you wiping the sweat from Greg’s brow after a “dance session!”

As we travel through life, we are too often confronted by situations where we receive less than stellar service and value for our money. This letter is the opposite.
Last Friday my daughter’s wedding was held at your beach facility in Sea Bright.
Everything, and I mean everything, including the weather, turned out great. Every employee we encountered was both professional and courteous. Sal, our Maitre D’ in particular, went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy. If you ever need a testimonial from a satisfied customer, I am your guy.
