After a heavy clean-up we are happy to announce that the Beach Club at Water’s Edge is now open.

To All Members of the Water’s Edge Beach Club

We would like to update the members on the current status of the Beach Club.
 

 
I – The Bad News
1. (25) Portable cabanas and grilling areas were lost to the ocean.
The remaining (7) portable cabanas suffered major damage (P5, P10, P11, P14, P20, P26 & PV).

2. Major beach erosion has left us with no sand/beach area in front of either the North or South sea wall.

3. Stair cases were destroyed in some places.

4. All Grills in the Pool area were destroyed.

5. The Pool and Café took in much sand and damage.
 

II – The Good News and What we are doing

1. We will reopen on Wednesday, August 31st in the following areas:
Pool/Café and Beach Cabanas access will be open.

2. The Beach and Ocean will be closed until – Thursday, September 1st.

3. The Tiki Bar will be open – Thursday, September 1st.

4. All portable cabana members have been displaced. We are instituting an “Adopt a Portable Family Program”.
Any permanent cabana families, who want to adopt a family for the remainder of the season, please contact
that portable cabana family yourself or contact Chubby in the office to place your name on the list of added families.

For the remainder of the season, the Tiki Bar will be open to members and guests ONLY.

III – The Future

We are assessing all future plans for next year and we will notify your regarding next year as soon as possible.
Our primary goal right now was to reopen the club as quickly as possible so that you can enjoy the Labor Day weekend.
