 Voted Chef of the Year by International Caterers Association

Jack McCann, III, Chef de Cuisine and Director of Operations for Merri-Makers Caterers was honored as the Chef of the Year by the International Caterers Association at their annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The International Caterers Association (ICA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, mentoring and service for professional caterers and promoting the profession of catering to clients, industry members, vendors and the public.  The ICA has been in existence for 25 years.

McCann, is responsible for all events in the off-premise division starting with planning the menu, devising the layout and logistics and then executing the entire event in tandem with his staff. 

He graduated in the top 2% of his class from Johnson & Wales University in 1995, and resides in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

Merri-Makers has catered the last three New Jersey Governor Inaugural Balls in addition to large events for Lockheed Martin, Aventis, Washington Mutual, K. Hovnanian, American Cancer Society, Morris Museum and other clientele where serving from 500 to 10,000 guests.
